News

Welcome from hot and steamy New Hampshire! I have been working hard getting ready for the 92nd Annual Craftsmen’s Fair at the Mount Sunapee Resort in Newbury, NH. It begins on Saturday, August 2rd and runs through Sunday, August 10th. This is now my 51st year!
Missy and I have had a very busy spring and early summer so far. We’ve been playing flute and piano monthly at our local senior center, and are currently practicing for a major (for us!) concert in September. All this while battling encroaching vegetation in the back yard and, of course MAKING SPOONS! There are many special pieces this year, including a new set of pickup sticks. I’ve made a great discovery: pickup sticks don’t have to be straight, or the same length, or round!
We hope that you’ll join us at the Fair and buy lots of spoons. Please also check out this website. There is lots to see and read. If you don’t find anything that fits the bill, feel free to call or email. I’m sure we can find a spoon or bowl that will touch your heart and grace your home.

Testimonials

Beauty, remarkable craftsmanship, useful and fun. I use them often. Thank you for your wonderful work. – Marnie ** // **    I eat my lunch with your spoon every day. I bought it from you – it must be seven years ago – it’s still as good as new. -- Stephen ** // **    I really treasure the spoons I purchased from you. I have one that looks like a bird! – Pinetree ** // **    They are the Best spoons (and forks and chopsticks, etc.) in the whole wide world. – Susan ** // **    I had always assumed that “designing from nature” meant to take one’s inspiration from natural forms. I had not considered direct response to natural forms working within the material. Thank you! – Dennis ** // **    I have a most beautiful collection of your spoons, pendants, chopsticks, and hair pins. I'm so glad you and your carving talents are in my life. -- Leigh ** // **
